Love Angels on Raindrops
The dusk of night weeps angels on raindrops
Gently falling onto the petals and peapods.
Unfolding their wings they gather the dew
Collections of stardust for me and you.
They meander the garden of violets and pansies
Dodging the puddles, twirling and dancing.
Angels on raindrops have dropped to the ground
Blowing their kisses not making a sound.
Searching you out wherever you are,
Whether hiding from me or not very far.
Angels on raindrops kissing the cold
Spreading good wishes and warming the soul.
Their glow lights the dusk, never to fall
Shiny blue eyes, warming us all.
As morning is near, they scurry away
Riding the raindrops, no time to stay.
